Advantages of impeller aerators
1. In addition to increasing oxygen, the aerator also has the functions of stirring water and aeration, promoting the growth and reproduction of phytoplankton and improving the primary productivity of the pond.
2. The mechanical structure is relatively simple, mechanical failures rarely occur during use, maintenance is more convenient, and maintenance costs are reduced.
3. During the use process, the water flow in the middle and upper layers can be formed, so that the dissolved oxygen in the middle and upper water bodies can be uniform, and it is suitable for pond culture and pond first aid equipment.
Disadvantages of impeller aerators
1. It can only be used under the condition of smooth power supply. In remote mountainous areas where electricity is lacking, the cost of erecting wires is relatively high.
2. Generally, the aerator must be fixed at a point in the pond. It is troublesome to change the position, and the aeration area is limited to a certain range. When used in a larger pond, the oxygenation effect on the bottom water body is poor.
3. The buoy of the aerator is exposed to the air all the year round. After being exposed to sunlight, it is easily damaged by corrosion and needs to be replaced frequently.
4. It belongs to single-point oxygenation, and the mechanical operation noise is large, which easily affects the growth of aquatic animals and bruises aquatic animals.
5. The impeller aerator is easy to suck up the bottom mud of the fish pond, and it is not suitable for use in the pond with shallow water level.
